adrift

when the senses of a sadhak come in touch with material world they often overpower his wisdom and force it to their direction

This shloka of geeta says:

Here the condition of a sadhak, one who is trying to become one with God is compared with a boat. Jusl like wind sometimes forces a boat to its direction- the senses when they come in touch with material world, overpower the wisdom and force it to their direction.

But once a sadhak has found confirmation from his heart that all he wants is God his senses withdraw themselves from material world voluntarily and his wisdom stabilises in God. The fear of being driven by desires slowly vanishes.

  1. Lovely! One can think of these two sentences for ever and find new meanings in it.

  2. The last Two in the post.

A request dear Trisha, this word-verification business is driving me nuts. Can you disallow it for this and the story blog? Every single comment has to be retyped because either, the verification program would not recognize the profile or the code would be too complicated to type in.

Of course its up to you. It is your security at stake. Even when I have to say something more on the subject, this problem looms up and I become dispirited :)

  3. ok, i will turn off the word verification, as i dont accept comments from non authentic sources i wonder if it will cause any problem.. if it does i will restart it, ok?

do what i do.. after typing a comment, before clicking the post comment, simply press ctrl+a+c :) in that case if your comment goes.. you will be able to paste it from memory.

  4. Thanks a lot dear Trisha, this has been bothering me a lot. I don't know how it works but you still have the comment moderation option if things go wrong to try first I think. Anyway put the lid back on if someone else start coming to cause trouble.

I have started doing that technique you suggested.

  5. that technique is very useful, recently it happened in hotmail for a month or so, i used to type the entire mail and when i clicked to send button the page used to hang.. so i have formed this habit whenever i write something large.
